Cervical cancer remains a major public health concern in Nigeria, particularly among women living with HIV, many of whom lack access to screening and treatment despite the disease being preventable when caught early. The ACCESS study tests implementation strategies for screen-and-treat services at 12 HIV treatment sites in Nigeria's ICON-3 Practice-Based Research Network. Baseline data from March-August 2023 showed that of 23,409 women living with HIV who visited sites, 13,518 were eligible for screening but only 4,499 (33%) were screened, ranging from 65.5% in the South West to 22.4% in the North West. Of 112 screening-positive cases, 73.2% received on-site treatment, and of 23 suspected cancer cases, 65.2% were referred for oncology evaluation, revealing significant gaps and regional disparities in cervical cancer prevention services.
